About Melia Dog Bowls:

All Melia luxury pet bowls are 100% made in the USA. They start with talc free and asbestos free clay, craft your pet bowl and then fire it in a bisque kiln at about 1800 degrees. The bowl is then painted in one of over 150 different original designs by Rebecca W. Volandt with several layers of lead free, dinnersafe glaze. If you personalize your bowl with a name, it will be pained at this time, then dip glazed for a nice shiny coat and finally fired in the kiln again to cure the glaze.
